Mr. Anthony Valdes Obituary

Anthony Valdes was born at Regional Medical Center in Anniston, Alabama on July 25, 2000 to Sonya Weed and Jose Valdes.

 

Anthony Valdes accepted Christ at a young age and later attended Victory Family Worship Center, Goodwater, Alabama. He graduated from Clay County High School in 2019.

 

After school Anthony accepted a Football Scholarship to Greenville University where he played for a short time and returned home. He started working for Ellis Logging Company where he gained a lot of experience and his CDL. After that he started with Georgia Power Company.  He was a Lineman and worked until his death.

 

Along Ant’s journey, he became a great father and a better man. Anthony was a loving and caring person. No matter who he came across, he left a great impression and a loving spirit. He was always willing to help others with a loving spirit. A young man with a heart of gold.

 

Anthony departed this walk of life on March 20, 2024.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Ann Ellis; grandfathers: J. D. Ellis and Daniel Valdes uncles: George Wilson, Edgar Ross, & Lytavis Green.

 

Anthony’s love will be remembered by his loving parents: Sonya Weed of Ashland, Alabama and Jose Valdes of Tampa, Florida (Maydel); Grandmother, Cathy Alba; Siblings: Vernessa Billingsley of Ashland, Alabama; Jose (Jurnee) Valdes of Auburn, Alabama; His children: Adalynn Valdes and Braylynn Valdes; Mother of his children  Victoria Embry; Niece,  Paris Protho; Loving aunts and uncles: Barbara Ross, Robert Wilson (Kelly), Lacey Wilson (Mary), Gerald Ellis, Jayron Ellis  (Wanda), Natalie Ellis and Timothy Ellis (Melissa); Godparents: Ronald Mattox (Sheryle) and a host of loving cousins, friend, classmates and co-workers.
