Pauline Y. (Marbury) Parrish

October 21, 1956 ~ January 28, 2017 (age 60) 60 Years Old

Mrs. Pauline Yvette (Marbury) Parrish was born on October 21, 1956 in Alexander City, Alabama to James Arthur and Thelma Moten Marbury.

             At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.   She was a member of Haven Memorial United Methodist Church.  Pauline graduated from Benjamin Russell High School, Class of 1975. 

             While living in Forest Park, Georgia, for the last 33 years, she attended both Baptist and Pentecostal churches. She was employed with AAFES (Army and Air Force Exchange Service) for 26 years.  She retired from AAFES, June 25, 2010.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Arthur Marbury and her husband, Willie Carl Parrish who loved her unconditionally.

Pauline memories are left to be cherished by a wonderful and loving mother, Mrs. Thelma Marbury. Three wonderful sisters: Belinda Holley, Rev. Shirleen Harvey, Darlene (Eddie) Johnson all of Alexander City, Alabama. Three nephews: Undra’ (April) Marbury of Pelham, Alabama, Eddie Jr. (Akisha) Johnson and Edward Douglas Harvey, II both of Auburn, Alabama.  One niece, Kenyatta P. Johnson of Auburn, Alabama.  One aunt, Evelyn Rowell of Bronx, New York.  Two uncles: Oliver (Katherine) Moten and Walter Moten both of Alexander City, Alabama. Five great nieces, two great nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.  A very special friend, Dale Phelps.
