Honoring the Life and Legacy of  Mrs. Alma Joyce Colvin Harrell

Mrs. Alma Joyce (Colvin) Harrell was born May 23, 1932 to the late Mr. Tera and Mrs. Rosie Lee Cox Colvin in Dadeville, Alabama.

Alma Joyce (Colvin) Harrell united in the Holy Bonds of Matrimony to Mr. William Cleon Harrell on September 24, 1955.

Mrs. Harrell accepted Christ at an early age and joined Great Bethel Baptist Church. She retired from Brown’s Nursing Home as Assistant Dietician and from Ralph Froshin Sr. and his family as a Domestic Worker.

She rested in the arms of God on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Russell Medical Center, Alexander City, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. William Cleon Harrell.  2 sons: Mr. Nathaniel Colvin and Mr. Edgar Allen Harrell; granddaughter, Teneshia Míchelle Harrell.

Mrs. Harrell leaves her loving and blessed children to cherish her dear memories:  one daughter, Evangelist Teresa Harrell Moten of Alexander City, Alabama. Three sons: Mr. William Cleon Harrell, Jr. of Birmingham, Alabama; Mr. Kirk Douglas (Shirley) Harrell of Montgomery, Alabama and Mr. Gary Oneal Harrell of Florida.  One brother, Mr. William  (Naomi) Colvin.  5 sisters: Mrs. Brucie Mae Cook, Mrs. Jeanette (James) Oliver, Mrs. Lillian Barrett, Mrs. Daisy Pearl Rickman and Ms. Geraldine Stephens.  14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.  A daughter in law, Mrs. Mabys Russell Colvin.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many many friends.
